RVC Outdoor Destinations, a Memphis, Tenn.-based operator of 11 resorts across the U.S., reported that it finished 2016 with its best year ever.
According to a report, the company saw revenue up 25% over 2015, with a 15% same-store increase. RVC also enjoyed a mix of record months and record holiday weekends, all while maintaining superior guest survey scores — including seven No. 1-rated properties on TripAdvisor.
In addition, RVC reported 1.9 million website visits, a 33% increase over 2015.
During 206, the company introduced Yosemite RV Resort in California, completed the second phase of Live Oak Landing in Freeport, Fla., and added a yurt village and more cabins at Mountain Springs in Asheville, N.C. The company also rolled out its first major community service program, “BeeCause.”
The company’s 11 resorts include 139 team members in nine states, with three more RVC Outdoor Destinations sites are planned. Currently, the company has nearly 1,300 acres of land, with room for growth, offering 1,100 RV sites, 192 cottages, cabins and yurts, and 951 boat slips.
