The National RV Dealers Association (RVDA)  has added a health insurance program to its array of membership benefits.  The health program is available through Mass Marketing Insurance Consultants Inc. (MMIC), a company with experience in the development of successful insurance programs for professional and trade associations.  
MMIC insurance representatives are association health insurance specialists capable of offering the broadest range of insurance companies, policies, and plans.  Optional disability and dental coverage are also available. The program is designed to meet each RVDA member’s unique needs
MMIC has contracted nationally with a number of health insurance companies to provide a wide variety of benefits. MMIC will have the ability to create a customized insurance program best suited for individual dealerships, rather than being limited to plans from one insurance company. Based on the dealership’s individual needs, MMIC will provide quotes from those companies able to provide the broadest coverage at the most competitive possible cost.
Coverage will be available to individual members and those firms with two or more employees.

With group coverage, all active full-time employees including owners, partners, and officers working at least 30 hours per week are eligible for coverage. An insured spouse and dependent children under age 19 (23 if full-time student) are also eligible to apply.

Certain participation requirements must be met and maintained. These requirements are based on the number of eligible employees per firm and are available from MMIC.

The major medical plan available will offer up to $5,000,000 lifetime maximum per insured with a choice of deductibles ranging from $250 up to $5,000. Eligible hospital expenses such as surgery and doctor services are covered.

Most programs will have a doctor office visit benefit ranging from $10 to $25 and a prescription drug card with co-payments of $10 for generic and $20 for brand name. The plans will contain certain limitations and exclusions, which will be outlined in proposals.
The cost of the coverage for the RVDA program may be paid in whole by the employer or shared with the employees.  However, the employer’s contribution must be at least 50% of the total cost.
