Twenty-four associate members recently joined a small group of Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) executives and staff to mark the launch of its Ambassador program.
During the May 6 meeting at RVDA headquarters in Fairfax, Va., the newly designated ambassadors learned about the various components and programs available to dealers through the RVDA, RV Assistance Corp. and the RV Learning Center.
“The major message we wanted the ambassadors to come away with is how they can help spread the word to their dealer customers about the offerings of RVDA,” said RVDA Chairman Jeff Pastore of Hartville RV Center, Hartville, Ohio. “How can they convince their dealer customers that professionalizing their employees will lead to the ultimate goal of creating satisfied, loyal customers who will continuously return to their dealership and bring their friends with them.”
Karen Sideris of Citizens Recreation Finance, noted, “I learned a great deal and was very impressed with the RV Learning Center. I knew about the programs and understood they were very good, but did not know the full extent of the tremendous quality and extensive work put into it.”
A town-hall style meeting preceded the presentation, offering open discussion and networking among attendees.
