The 2015 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo announced four highly rated workshop speakers who have never been featured at the annual event which takes place Nov. 2–6 in Las Vegas. According to a press release, the program is balanced to include newcomers to the convention lineup along with expert RV industry trainers that dealers rely on and trust to meet their professional development needs.
The additional speakers will present workshops in the sales, rental, parts, dealer/GM, and social media/e-marketing tracks. The convention is sponsored by the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA), RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center and each year the convention committee focuses on bringing new expert presenters to keep the content relevant and worthwhile to dealers.
The sales track will feature Christine Corelli of Corelli and Associates Inc., presenting two workshops on Nov. 4-5. Corelli is often a keynote speaker and is the author of numerous popular and best-selling business books. On Wednesday afternoon she presents “The Customer of the Future — Will Tomorrow’s Customer Be Yours?” and on Thursday she will present a workshop on “Aligning Your Team for Results.”
Also on Thursday Corelli will co-present a workshop entitled “How to Sell to Women,” with another new presenter, Doug Dvorak of the Dvorak Marketing Group. She and Dvorak are co-authors of the top selling title, “How to Sell to Women.” They frequently present together on the topic, focusing on ways to build trust in the sales relationship and avoid gimmicks and manipulation.
Dvorak will present at two other workshops on Thursday. “Displaying Dynamic Leadership in Your Dealership: How to Succeed in Business — Just Count the Ways,” will be offered in the dealer/GM track. And in the sales track, Dvorak will present “Managing for Sales Success.” Dvorak offers a powerful presentation style that relies on humor and his unique ability to connect with and motivate audiences.
Nancy Friedman, also known as “The Telephone Doctor,” is an expert at ramping up customer service to superior levels. She will present “Hell Hath No Fury Like a Customer Scorned” in the parts track, “Seven Traits of a Successful Leader,” for dealer/GMs, and “Telephone Inquiries Are Not Always About Price,” in the sales and rental tracks. She has been featured as a customer service specialist on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America, CNN, and Fox News and in the Wall Street Journal and USA Today.
The social media/e-marketing track introduced last year returns with new presenter Phil Sura of UnityWorks Media delivering a workshop titled “Creating a Killer Online Video Strategy.” He specializes in empowering dealerships to create targeted intelligent video strategies that will drive traffic to their websites and increase sales.
