Final-Passport-2015-logoFresh presenters in the areas of general management, social media, and service management will make their debut at the 2015 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo, Nov. 2-6 at Bally’s in Las Vegas.

According to a press release, each year the Convention Committee focuses on bringing new expert presenters to keep the content relevant and worthwhile to dealers. The convention is sponsored by the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Associaton (RVDA), RVDA of Canada and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.

“I want all of you to come to Vegas this year and bring your staff for the best training investment you can make,” said Convention/Expo Committee Chair Ron Shepherd of Camperland of Oklahoma. “Come on out to the convention, learn something new, get inspired, and take it all back with you. This is how we learn to make our businesses better, stronger, and more resilient.”

The Dealer/GM track will feature Jody Urquhart, a popular motivational speaker whose company, Idoinspire, focuses on using humor to inspire and drive home points about ways to make work more meaningful.  “Follow Me, I’m Right Behind You! How to Lead & Influence Others” will provide a lively, interactive look at how to inspire a spirited and resilient workforce that stays focused and productive.

Based in Canada, Urquhart will also present a Service Management track workshop, called “I Love My Job; It’s the People I Can’t Stand!” A former standup comedian, Urquhart is frequently featured as a keynote speaker, but at the Convention/Expo, she will deliver her dynamic and upbeat presentation in a regular workshop setting.

Another new presenter in the Service Management track, Budd Blackburn of Level 5 Advertising, will present, “Turn Your Service Lane into a Selling Lane.” Blackburn combines his retail and training backgrounds to bring best practices to many of the nation’s top automotive groups. He promotes a results-driven strategy that has proven to set him apart from the crowd and attributes much of his success to his ability to think like a customer.

In the Social Media/eMarketing track Rick Delancey, a digital advertising specialist, also with Level 5 Advertising, will present a workshop entitled “Digital Marketing for Dealers.” Delancey specializes in generating real leads for clients in the automotive, medical, legal, and home improvement fields. He has over 15 years of sales experience across traditional and digital mediums.
