The Recreation Vehicle Dealer’s Association (RVDA) Education Foundation Inc. is seeking dealers to assist in developing the curriculum for the RV Learning Center’s service manager certification program, due to launch sometime next year.
The certification program is being developed by the Learning Center and Ohio State University, and is the second offered by the RV Learning Center.
RVDA said it needs dealers to assist in development of the scope of the program, creating pilot tests and validating the certification exam.
In its first year, the Learning Center certified more than 250 dealership employees as trained service advisers.
The mostly Internet-driven RV Learning Center, operating in 2005 on a $545,420 budget, is intended to facilitate training for non-technical RV dealership employees.
