Seven RV manufacturers have received the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) 2003 Quality Circle Award for being cited by their dealers as top-performing companies.
They are: Ameri-Camp LLC, Syracuse, Ind.; KZ Inc., Shipshewana, Ind.; Newmar Corp., Nappanee, Ind.; SunLine Coach Corp., Denver, Pa.; Monaco Coach Corp., Coburg, Ore.; Teton Homes, Mills, Wyo., and Winnebago Industries Inc., Forest City, Iowa.
The award is presented to manufacturers receiving an overall rating of 80% in a confidential Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) survey of the dealers who sell their brands.
RVDA reported record participation this year with 537 dealers completing 1,887 evaluations that rated manufacturers on sales support, product competitiveness, management and service and warranty support.
“The DSI report will show that many dealers feel their business relationship with their manufacturers is improving,” said RVDA President Mike Molino.
Additionally, Country Coach Inc., Junction City, Ore., Hi-Lo Trailer Co., Bellville, Ohio, R.C. Willett Co. Inc., Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Potomac RV LLC, Elkhart, Ind., received special-recognition awards for high scores from fewer than 15 dealers.
The DSI report will be available in the December edition of RV Executive Today beginning Dec. 2 at the RVDA booth at the National RV Trade Show in Louisville. Individual manufacturers will get their performance reports in December.
