The RVDA Education Foundation recently received a $20,000 pledge for the RV Learning Center from Dometic Corp., of Elkhart, Ind., and a $10,000 personal contribution from Damon Motor Coach President and COO Bill Fenech.
According to a press release, RV industry supplier Dometic’s pledge brings the company’s total contribution to $50,000. Fenech’s donation came from him and his wife, Kristin.
John Waters, president of Dometic, stated: “Since its inception, RVDA’s dealership education efforts have brought about a positive contribution to our industry. The success that RVDA has brought to the market has a direct impact on Dometic’s success as a leading supplier to the industry. Dometic Corporation is pleased to continue to be a supporter of such a worthwhile program.”
Fenech noted: “I chose to make a personal commitment to the RVDA Education Foundation because I truly believe that the results will help build opportunities in the RV industry for generations to come. The educational offerings from the RV Learning Center, both current and future, will help to build professional staff people who will create and maintain loyal, satisfied RV customers.  I am proud to be a part of this effort.”
