The national Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) is strong financially and its membership accounts for a high 80% of all new RV units sold in the U.S., RVDA President Mike Molino said during the association’s Convention/Expo in Las Vegas earlier this month.
“Our audited financial numbers verify that the association is in excellent financial condition,” said Molino, who was recognized during Con/Expo for his 15 years of service to the RVDA.
“Our cash position is strong and we have no debt, having paid off the mortgage on our building (in Fairfax, Va.) last summer.
“Membership remains healthy,” Molino continued. “As has been the case for the past decade, dealership membership accounts for more than 80% of all new units sold and at least 90% of the RV rental business. Most leading dealers choose to be members of RVDA and many of them credit RVDA with helping them become better and bigger.
“We all owe a special thanks to our business partners who support the association through their advertising, endorsements, royalty programs, sponsorships, Education Foundation contributions and other program fees.”
