The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association’s (RVIA) board has approved a $500,000 retail advertising budget to draw attendees to the 56th Annual California RV Show.
The event will run Oct 10-19 at the Fairplex in Los Angeles County’s Fair and Exposition grounds in Pomona.
According to RVIA, show promoters are highlighting the fact that RVing is still less expensive than air travel and staying in hotels, and provides quality family time. The diversity of product at the show will also be featured.
That message is also being conveyed to consumers on the show’s website, www.carvshow.com.
RVIA reported that seminars at the show will help attendees in selecting the right RV and provide tips for full timing and extended RV travel. One of the most popular seminars from previous shows will be continued this year, “Yes, You Can Drive an RV.”
“This year’s show is shaping up to be a really terrific event,” said Marsha McInnis, RVIA’s western region show director. “Enthusiasm is high and we expect a strong consumer turnout.”
