The Recreational Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) board appointed four new members and named Don Walter to the executive committee during a Thursday (Jan. 18) conference call.
According to RVIA, the board appointments fill vacated manufacturer seats.
Fleetwood Enterprises Inc.’s Paul Eskritt, who recently replaced Chris Braun as executive vice president of the Riverside, Calif., company’s recreational vehicle group, will assume Braun’s seat on the board. Walter, president of Topeka, Ind.-based Starcraft RV Inc. and a current board member, will take over Braun’s role as secretary on the executive committee.
Other new board members include Larry Hughes, industry consultant and partner/investor, Pilgrim International Inc., Middlebury, Ind.; DeWayne Creighton, president, Dynamax Corp., Elkhart, Ind.; and Mike Terlep, president, Coachmen RV Co. LLC, Middlebury.
Each will serve through the remainder of the RVIA fiscal year, ending Sept. 30, and stand for re-election in the association elections taking place this summer. Walter also will remain as secretary for the remainder of the fiscal year.
RVIA said the board makeup is currently comprised of 27 seats – 22 elected positions and five past chairmen. Elected spots include 12 manufacturer, one conversion vehicle, seven supplier and two at large seats.
