Reston, Va.-based Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) announced today (April 4) the appointment of three new staff members.
According to a press release, the new appointees include Senior Director of Communications and Publications Bill Baker, Director of Education Wade Crounse and Director of Communications Jane Jacobs.
Baker is rejoining RVIA after three years at the accounting firm of Virginia-based Yount, Hyde & Barbour, where he was the director of marketing. As RVIA’s senior director of communications and publications, he oversees all RVIA publications, including RVIA Today, association research reports and the membership directory, as well as the annual Outlook Breakfast in Louisville.
Baker previously worked at RVIA from 1992 to 2003 in several capacities, including media relations manager, director of communications and director of government affairs.
Crounse is a veteran of the U.S. Army and has over 10 years experience as a career and technical educator. He also teaches at Northern Virginia Community College. As director of education, Crounse assists with the design and implementation of RV service technician training opportunities.
Jacobs has over 16 years experience in communications. Prior to joining RVIA she was director of industry communications for the North American Meat Processors Association. As director of communications, she is the editor of RVIA Today and coordinates the association’s vehicle loan program. Jacobs is also a staff liaison for the Go RVing Committee on Excellence.
