The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) is preparing for Committee Week 2015, taking place May 31-June 4 at the Mayflower Renaissance Washington in Washington, D.C., according to a report inRVIA Today Express.
Over the course of the five-day event, the association’s standing committees, the Executive Committee and the RVIA board will meet to set the association’s plans for the upcoming fiscal year. The Go RVing Coalition will also meet on Monday, June 1.
In addition to the full-slate of committee meetings, other key events on the schedule, include:
• RVIA’s Capitol Hill Advocacy Day – RVIA members will visit Capitol Hill on June 3, to meet with legislators and their staff to discuss key issues critical to the RV industry.
• 2016 RV Market Outlook – RVIA will provide the first forecast for the RV market in 2016 and examine the economic conditions impacting the industry.
• Networking Events – Several joint-committee luncheons and receptions, including an event at the National Zoo on June 1, will give Committee Week participants the opportunity to establish, renew and build upon the relationships critical to business success.
