The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA), during its meeting on Nov. 26, filled two recently created vacancies on its Board of Directors.

Dale Zimmerman, president Sunline Coach Co., Denver, Pa., replaced Cole Davis, president of the Keystone subsidiary of Thor Industries Inc.

Davis had to resign from the RVIA board because Thor acquired Keystone last month and Thor already is represented on the RVIA board by Walt Bennett, Thor’s senior vice president.

Additionally, Vern Kauffman, president of LA West Inc., Lagrange, Ind., replaced John Kehoe, president of Osage Industries Inc., Linn, Mo. Kehoe resigned because Osage no longer produces conversion vehicles.

Meanwhile, Al Ruhl, vice president, Manchester Tank & Equipment Co., Brentwood, Tenn., returned to the board after a one year absence due to term limits.

Mike Larime, CEO of Thetford Corp., also resigned from the RVIA board because he will retire next year.

Larry Lawrence, president and CEO of Sunline Coach, and Carl Pfalzgraf, vice president of sales and marketing at Atwood Mobile Products, Rockford, Ill., also left the RVIA board because they reached their term limits. So far, they have not been replaced.

Kelly Rose, chairman of Starcraft Corp., Goshen Ind., who resigned last summer after Starcraft sold its conversion vehicle business, also was not replaced on Nov. 26.
