The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) has hired Mike Anderson to serve as the association’s TnT Program Technician Trainer with the responsibility of educating technicians on various RV systems.
Anderson has more than 27 years of experience in RV manufacturing having previously worked for LongTree RV in Tongxiang, China from 2013–2015 and Gulf Stream Coach Inc. from 1986–2013. He holds a bachelor’s in organization management from Bethel College in Mishawaka, Ind.
“Mike is a great addition to the TnT program with his extensive knowledge of RV manufacturing as well as the codes and standards programs,” said Sharonne Lee, RVIA’s senior director of education. “He will travel the country to train dealer technicians on RV systems, such as plumbing, basic electricity and life/safety systems, that are outside the education provided by the association’s supplier members. This training will be a valuable enhancement to the TnT program.”
The TnT program brings technician training directly to local areas or RV dealerships. It is designed to increase the awareness of and participation in industry technician training and certification programs by having field representatives visit RV dealerships to educate management and technicians about educational opportunities, determine training needs, and schedule training sessions.
