The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) and National Association of Trailer Manufacturers (NATM) will host a free webinar presented by the National Highway Traffic Safety Association (NHTSA) on Jan. 15 at 2 p.m. EST.

The webinar will be conducted by Bruce York, NHTSA division chief, medium and heavy duty vehicles division; Safety Defect Investigator Nate Seymour; and R. Nicholas Englund, trial attorney, litigation and enforcement division, office of chief counsel.

Topics will focus on the structure of NHTSA and the office of defects investigations. Highlights will include how and why NHTSA investigations are conducted, and a company’s responsibilities after receiving a request for an investigation from NHTSA and the rules and procedures that apply to federal early warning reporting requirements.

The webinar is recommended for engineers, lawyers, and anyone else responsible for company compliance with the NHTSA rules and regulations working for RV manufacturers, trailer manufacturers and suppliers.
