Four in-depth Trouble Shooter clinics have been scheduled between November and March by the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA).
The clinics are designed to help technicians improve their skills in diagnosing problems and repairing most major RV components through 40 hours of intensive classroom lectures and hands-on training.
They are:
• Nov. 6-10, Century Center, South Bend, Ind.
• Jan. 8-12, Texas State Technical College, Waco, Texas
• Feb. 12-16, The Westin Atlanta (Ga.) Airport
• March 19-23, Ivy Tech State College, Elkhart, Ind.
Taught by industry experts, the registration fee is $499 for each clinic, with a $100 discount offered to those registering more than 30 days prior to the event.
Participants will receive the latest supplier technical training manuals for future reference, two RVIA text books on propane and electrical systems, a Trouble Shooter Clinic hat and a certificate of course completion.
RV technician certification testing will be offered on Friday afternoons after the last clinic session concludes.
