The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) has selected the Kingsmill Resort in historic Williamsburg, Va., as the site of its 2005 Annual Meeting, slated for Sept. 22-24.
The RVIA Executive Committee made the decision during its recent meetings at the National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky.
The business agenda will begin on Sept. 22 with RVIA Executive Committee and Board of Directors meetings. On Sept. 23, informative seminars will fill the morning hours, leaving the afternoon open for attendees to take in some of the local attractions.
The business agenda concludes on Sept. 24 with the Annual Membership Meeting featuring various reports on association activities, including the latest on the Go RVing national advertising campaign.
This year’s Chairman’s Reception and Dinner on Sept. 24 will include a special tribute to RVIA President Dave Humphreys, as he prepares to step down in January 2006.
Social events will be ongoing throughout the event, beginning with the welcome reception on Sept. 22.
According to RVIA, the Kingsmill Resort and Conference Center offers the “perfect balance between business and pleasure,” combining a host of sightseeing attractions with advanced business facilities.
