RVIA has selected the St. Regis Resort in Aspen, Colo., as the location for its 2004 Annual Meeting Sept. 26-28. The site was selected during the RVIA’s Board of Directors meeting on Feb. 28.
“We were able to obtain an exceptional rate at an extraordinary location and we think Aspen will attract good attendance,” said RVIA President Dave Humphreys.
The RVIA Annual Meeting is a once-a-year event where industry members come together to hear reports on association activities and participate in educational seminars.
In other RVIA news, U. S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, an avid RVer, will be a guest speaker at a June 7 committee luncheon during RVIA’s annual Committee Week, being held this year at the historic Willard Inter-Continental Hotel in Washington, D.C. June 7-10.
Eleven RVIA standing committees, the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors will meet during the annual four-day event. The Go RVing Coalition and its Committee on Excellence also will meet.
