This year’s Continuing Education Seminar for RV manufacturers and suppliers will shift its focus from standards-related issues to improving business practices.
The RVIA-sponsored program will be held Nov. 11 at the Century Center in South Bend, Ind., running from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Michael Garrison, president and CEO of Delta Partners, will present information on “Lean Manufacturing,” a proven business model designed to help companies streamline and economize operations and maximize profits.
Garrison has extended experience in the manufacturing sector and has worked with companies in the RV industry.
Dan Mullen will conduct a seminar titled “Bar Code Facts not Fishing,” providing a basic understanding of the advancements in bar code technology.
Mullen is affiliated with AIM Global, the trade association for automatic identification and mobility solutions.
RVIA is asking that any questions be submitted prior to the conference.
The cost for the seminar is $75 per person and registration is required by Nov. 5. Following the deadline, on-site registration will run $125 per person. Special-rate hotel accommodations are available.
