Members of Indiana’s state legislature and representatives of the state’s congressional delegation, visited the Elkhart RV Open House on Wednesday (Sept. 20).

In attendance were State Rep. Jackie Walorski, R-Ind.-2; Sen. Blake Doriot; State Rep. Doug Miller, R-Ind.-48; Lauren Varga, regional director for Sen. Joe Donnelly; and Courtney Papa, regional director for Sen. Todd Young.

Recreation Vehicle Indiana Council’s (RVIC) Matt Rose, director of RVs, along with along with Executive Director Ron Breymier, President Glen James and Immediate Past President Ken Eckstein, offered a guided tour of the Open House. RVIC member Brad Hooley of Quality Drive-Away was also in attendance.

The delegation also met with Michael Terlep, president of Coachmen RV, to learn more about Indiana’s RV industry and the importance to the state’s economy. 

In addition, Walorski toured the RV Open House meeting with Thor Industries Inc. President and CEO Bob Martin , as well as Doug Gaeddert and Don Gunden, general managers for Forest River Inc., and Grand Design RV Co. President and CEO Don Clark.

RVIC member Marion Shrock of Horizon Transport provided a Ford Transit Van to shuttle the delegation around the Open House.
