The RVillage “Spirit of the Road” Rally will take place Feb. 12-16 at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park & Campground in Live Oak, Fla. According to a press release, the five-day event is sponsored by RVillage, a social network platform for recreational vehicle and nomadic lifestyle enthusiasts.
“We’re excited to fill this beautiful venue with RVillage members and friends who love the nomadic lifestyle and enjoy connecting with other avid RVers,” says Curtis Coleman, founder of RVillage. “RVillage is a rapidly-growing, location-aware social network that helps connect RVers wherever they are.”
The “Spirit of the Road 2020 Rally” has doubled in size since last year’s event. This year’s schedule features master classes in RV electrical systems, led by Mike Sokol while Bob Wells, founder of “Cheap RV Living and the Rubber Tramp Rendezvous” will lead a class on the philosophy of nomadic living. YouTube influencers “RVgeeks” and “Mortons on the Move” will conduct workshops on cost-effective RV travel. In addition, a family camp component is included, spearheaded by the “Hippie and the Tech” blog.
Attendees can also attend additional seminars, vendor booths and demonstrations, kayaking the Suwannee River, world-class entertainment by folk legend Tracy Grammer, and YouTube’s Drivin’ and Vibin.’
The producers of the hit new TV series, “The RVers,” will also be on site. Evenings center around music, dancing, and hand-forged giant fire sculptures dubbed “The Firebirds,” created by Charlie “Blackcat” Smith and Sparseland Studios.
