RV Safety & Education Foundation (RVSEF) announced it is once again offering a hands-on driving class at the 2018 RV Technical Education & Safety Training Conference, Sept. 27-Oct. 1 in Elizabethtown, Ky.

The course is designed for individual instruction for current RV owners or people planning to purchase. With the generosity of a sponsor for the event, there will be a few units on-site so students still shopping for a unit can take advantage of the instruction.

RV Safety’s hands-on driving class features three hours of instruction that includes:

  • Pretrip vehicle inspection.
  • Maintaining space.
  • Backing skills (straight line, 45-degree, serpentine, parallel parking).
  • Driving skills (mirrors/blind spots, setting up for turns, looking ahead, road signs)
