The RV Safety & Education Foundation (RVSEF) has produced a new video website detailing the proper procedures to ensure RV tire safety.

“This new pay per view video encapsulates, in an easily understood presentation, everything an RV owner needs to know about tires and how to get the best value out of them,” said Walter Cannon, RVSEF executive director, in a press release. “The video takes information spread out over the tire industry and sorts the specifics necessary for RV manufacturers, dealers and enthusiasts alike.”

Cannon noted that a simple check of air pressure, sidewall and tread can mean the difference between a smooth ride and a really bad day.

“We take car tires for granted, and most of us take RV tires for granted as well until there is a sudden loss of air pressure,” Cannon said. “In a car that means managing 2,000 to 3,000 pounds. In an RV the proposition is uniquely different. Loss of air pressure means managing 10 times or more the weight of a car.”

The new “RV Tire Safety” video can be found on the foundation website at www.RVSafety.com in the “store” or locate it directly at http://rvsafety.com/store/37-videosub-tire.  The 30-plus minute, pay per view video sells for $19.95.
