The Recreation Vehicle Safety and Education Foundation (RVSEF), a non-profit organization based in Merritt Island, Fla., will be partnering with Horry-Georgetown Technical College in Myrtle Beach, S.C., in offering a one-day, six-hour RV safety education course for consumers.
Dates for the course, to be held at the campus conference center, include March 7, April 18, May 16, June 13, July 11 and Aug. 15.
The comprehensive program provides a standardized source of industry-approved RV safety information. RVSEF said the “easy-to-comprehend” format is broken down into nine RV safety topics.
Participants will receive a copy of the RVSEF Safety Training Program along with a completion certificate, which RVSEF said could be used in obtaining discounts with some of the major RV insurance providers.
