RVT.com, a leading online classifieds site for new and used RVs for sale, announced that its RV shopper traffic increased more than 44% June through August compared with the same period in 2016 while RV buyer inquiries jumped 68%.

According to a press release, the website had almost 3 million unique visitors in the three-month period from RV shoppers in the U.S. and Canada. Buyer email and phone-in leads during this time period totaled approximately 125,000. The largest traffic increases came from California and Texas.

“The summer of 2017 was the best ever for RV consumer traffic on RVT.com, attesting to the expansion of the RV market, increase in consumer confidence, and demand for the ever-appealing RV lifestyle,” said Shawn Friesen, vice president of RVT.com. “Millennials are a growing market for the RV industry, and are also the most digital-savvy demographic group. They prefer to do their shopping online and RVT.com makes it easy for RV dealers to connect with these buyers through Google search, social media, apps and mobile marketing.”
