“RVtoday,” which began its fourth season of production and broadcast on Jan. 1, will continue to air on cable television’s Outdoor Life Network (OLN) and has been added to the lineup on the RFD-TV network.
The multiple Telly Award winning program can be seen on OLN Monday through Friday at 10:30 a.m. EST and Sundays at 2 p.m. EST. RFD-TV airs “RVtoday” Sunday at 6 p.m. EST, Wednesday at noon and 6 p.m. EST, and Thursday at 6 a.m. EST.
The new season and broadcast schedule coincide with a new website launch at www.rvtoday.tv.
The show, offering a mix of lifestyle, travel and technical information, averages 287,000 households per week and 430,000 viewers per week.
The format fits with OLN’s 24-7 network, which is targeted at viewers who “have a passion for the outdoors.” Owned by Comcast, OLN reaches 62 million homes in the U.S. (7 out of 10 U.S. cable and satellite households). “RVtoday” is scheduled between hunting and fishing shows.
RFD-TV is America’s most prominent network serving the needs of rural America, where 35% of RVers live. Owned by RFD Communications, Inc., RFD-TV currently is available to over 21.2 million homes as a basic channel on DISH Network (9409), DIRECTV (379), Mediacom and NCTC cable systems.
