Kristen O’Hara

Today’s RVWA spotlight features Kristen O’Hara, vice president of business development at Togo RV, who also serves on the RVWA Marketing Committee.

Tell us a little bit about your job.

At Togo, I help to build partnerships that empower travelers to more easily own and maintain recreational vehicles as well as discover, book, and navigate road travel.

What do you like best about your job?

I really enjoy working with businesses to help build mutually beneficial partnerships that help drive more interest in the RV & Outdoor Hospitality Industry.

Where else have you worked?

Prior to starting with Togo Group, I served in various leadership roles in branding, marketing and property management system implementation & Business Development within the Campground Industry.

What was your first paid job?

I had the best first job!  At 15, I started my career at a 4 star/ 4 diamond Country Inn in Upstate New York and was cross-trained in all aspects of Inn ownership as well as prepping and serving fine dining cuisine. I learned so much at such a young age.

What do you like best about the RV industry?

Honestly, I really enjoy the people that I work with in the RV & Outdoor Hospitality Industry.

The most influential person in my career has been…

My dad has always been my rock. I wouldn’t be where I am today without his constant support and inspiration.

The one thing people might be surprised to know about me is…

Hmm, that is a tough one. Maybe that I was a bit of a book worm in grade school.
