Saddleback RV Center in June opened a new $6.5 million dealership in Colton, Calif., housing 14 services bays equipped with 30,000-pound and 50,000-pound lifts.
“It’s a purpose-built facility with the latest equipment encompassing what today’s RVers are looking for: service,” said Michael Sebastian, president of the dealership that topped $30 million in sales in 2005.
Sebastian opened Saddleback in 1984 in the Traveland USA retail complex 45 miles west in Irvine, which will remain open.
The new location, on Calif. 215 near the I-10 interchange, is promoted as the “Miracle Mile of RVs” by Colton officials in that the new Saddleback facility is the seventh dealership located within a mile of each other.
Saddleback’s new 35,000-square-foot store on five acres features 16,900 square feet of office space. “It’s a comfortable place for people to stop in a no-pressure atmosphere,” Sebastian said. “We think improving service is going to help us with sales.”
The official grand opening was to be the weekend of July 22.
