While traveling with a motorhome or towable may be a vacation, fitness must still be part of the traveling habit, Stef Adinaro said.

The Mason City (Iowa) Globe-Gazette reported that Adinaro and her husband James created the website thefitrv.com. The Salt Lake City, Utah, couple offer advice on fitness for RV users and also tips to keep motorhomes and towables “fit.”

The couple was in Forest City last week for the annual WIT Grand National Rally. The Adinaros travel in a Winnebago Travato, a smaller Class B motorhome. Winnebago and the Adinaros made some adaptations for their lifestyle, including a higher mounted bed to allow space to store bicycles while traveling.

“Our articles are relevant to the general RV population but are geared toward the population of 55 and older,” Adinaro said.

Adinaro handles most of the fitness tips and information while James focuses on information for the vehicle.
