Dealers attending the 2015 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo, Nov. 2-6 in Las Vegas, will learn strategies to help their business to stand out in a crowded field of competitors. According to a press release, keynote speaker Scott McKain will share proven methods for organizations and individuals to avoid uniformity and sameness — the primary killers of businesses and careers — during his address to North America’s top RV dealers on Nov 3.

McKain specializes in business differentiation. An internationally acclaimed speaker and business author, his recent book, “Create Distinction: What to Do When ‘Great’ Isn’t Good Enough to Grow Your Business” was named one of the “Top Ten Business Books of the Year” by several news organizations.  His focus on helping business owners to find what makes them different and then to use that to advantage is allowing entrepreneurs to establish superiority — and prosper.

Themed “Passport to Excellence: Education & Training,” the convention program is being designed to reflect the importance of training and education for all dealership staff positions. Successful programs like the Young RV Executives education workshops and the strong emphasis on digital marketing and social media have been incorporated again this year. Also, Vendor Training +Plus on Monday and Tuesday will offer more learning opportunities at the beginning of the week.

To allow dealers to bring more staff to the convention, the registration rate has been kept low, with discounts for additional staff and more opportunities to learn, through Vendor Training +Plus. The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) also continues to offer helpful registration payment plans, including the ability to lock in early rates for additional employees with one paid convention registration.

The 2015 convention will feature two exhibit halls filled with the RV industry’s top companies offering products and services to help dealers improve profitability. In addition, RVDA’s Partners in Progress committees will meet to work on important dealer-manufacturer issues.

Companies interested in Vendor Training +Plus, partnership and sponsorship opportunities and exhibitor information should contact Julie Newhouse at (703) 591-7130 ext. 103 or send an e-mail to[email protected].
