The 50th America’s Largest RV Show, hosted by the Pennsylvania RV and Camping Association, opens in less than two weeks in Hershey, Pa., with a record 1,400 RVs, a comprehensive education lineup and opportunities for quality time with manufacturer representatives. As in past years, the event will be held at the Giant Center in Hersheypark.

According to a press release, Industry Days kick off the show Technician training are on Sept. 10-11 while Dealer Day runs Sept. 11 with exhibits open to industry staff as well as more education events.

Training sessions include SealTech Leak Testing presented Gary Bunser, the “RV Doctor,” on Sept. 10-11. Other sessions include Dometic air conditioning and Atwood water heating training; LP gas systems with Marshall Excelsiar; Thetford RV toilets and sanitation system care; Horizon Global Training for Reese weight distribution and sway control, fifth-wheel hitches and mounting systems; and Tekonsha ZCI “Snap Don’t Snip” tow vehicle wiring solutions and Bull Dog powered fifth-wheel landing legs.
On Sept. 11, technicians can attend sessions on electric leveling and in-wall slideouts or Cummins training on engines and generators. Other featured sessions include Social Media 101: Master the Basics of Building your online brand; Selling the Easiest Customer First presented by KMS Keller, and The ABCs of trailer suspension with MorRyde. In addition, the show exhibits open for a special preview.
PRVCA will also host a 50th anniversary party on Sept. 11 at the AACA Antique Auto Museum, 161 Museum Drive, Hershey, Pa. The event will feature networking, cocktails and a tour of the museum.
