Funeral services for longtime RV dealer and former Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) President Larry McClain will be held on March 6 at 11 a.m. at Putnam City Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, with internment following at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. on March 5 at Bill Merritt Funeral Home in Bethany, Okla.
McClain, who passed away on Feb. 27, founded McClain’s RV’s in Bethany in 1963 and grew the business to five RV dealerships.
“Larry McClain was a key leader in the formation of the National RVDA and a driving force in forging unity among RV dealers. Larry was a terrific businessman who leaves an outstanding legacy in the RV business. Larry was a mentor to many up and coming RV dealers and a friend to all who crossed his path,” said RVDA President Phil Ingrassia.
McClain is survived by his two children, Tana McClain and Nathan McClain, and his five grandchildren, Jeron Van Hoose, Kelsea Koenreich, Maci McClain, Jakoby Moore and Meryn McClain and one great grandson Harrison Van Hoose.
