The nominating committee for the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) has selected a slate of candidates who will be competing for seven seats on the board of directors during August’s association elections, according to a news release.
Four candidates are vying for the four manufacturer seats with three-year terms. They include: Andrew Baer of KZ RV LP, Jeff Hanemaayer of Roadtrek Motorhomes, Mike Schoeffler of EverGreen Recreational Vehicles LLC and Tim Tiffin of Tiffin Motor Homes Inc.
One three-year supplier seat is in contention this year. Jack Tierney of Thetford Corp. and John Juliano of Al-Ko Kober Corp. are vying for the spot.
Five candidates are competing for two three-year term at-large seats. They are Garry Enyart of Cummins/Onan Generators, Jason Lippert of Drew Industries, Jonathan Randall of Freightliner Custom Chassis, Tim Stephens of Atwood Mobile Products and Jeff Rutherford of Carefree of Colorado.
The official representatives from RVIA member companies will elect candidates in each category to serve on the board. This year, voting for the board of directors seats will once again take place electronically. Although RVIA is missing e-mail addresses for some of its members, the ease of voting electronically should encourage more members to participate.
Pre-ballots will be sent electronically in mid-July. Election ballots will be sent electronically to official reps on Aug. 1, and voting can be done online. All new terms begin Oct. 1.
RVIA members are encouraged to update their records by providing their e-mail address to Diane Stuebing at [email protected] or calling (703) 620-6003 ext. 314.
This year’s nominating committee is chaired by John Regan of Fabric Services and includes Carl Pfalzgraf of Atwood Mobile Products and Bob Olson of Winnebago Industries Inc.
