National RV Holdings Inc. Chairman and CEO Gary Siegler recently bought 82,700 more shares of the company’s stock to raise his total position to more than 900,000 shares, according to the insiderSCORES.com news service.
Siegler paid $8.10 to $8.50 per share for the stock on April 26 and April 30.
The National RV chairman and CEO owned 839,184 shares, or 7.5%, of the company’s stock as of April 1, according to Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) documents.
So far, Siegler’s stock purchases in late April have proven to be a good investment. National RV stock closed at $10.65 a share on Tuesday (May 22).
Investors generally view stock purchases by corporate insiders such as Siegler as votes of confidence in the company’s management and an expression of the view that the company has a favorable outlook.
