Registration is open for Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) members planning to attend the association’s RV Leadership Conference taking place March 1–3 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club in Boca Raton, Fla., according to a report on RVIA Today Express.

Formerly known as the annual meeting, the new event is a members-only forum for RV industry leaders looking for expanded and impactful networking and educational opportunities. It is designed to encourage both top level management as well as the next generation of leaders to attend.

“RVIA is a leading voice of the RV industry,” said Liz Crawford, RVIA’s senior vice president of trade shows and events. “As such, the events we host are critical in helping develop future leaders, nurture talent and provide a place to share best practices and network. The RV Leadership Conference will bring together members and help develop a deeper understanding of critical industry and association issues by engaging the key players from all segments of the association.  We hope to help members reach into their companies and provide those ‘next-gen’ leaders with the keys for success.”

The event opens March 1 with meetings of RVIA’s Executive Committee from 8 a.m. to noon followed by the  board of directors meeting from noon to 6 p.m. A gala welcome reception for all attendees is scheduled for 6:00–7:30 p.m.

RV Leadership Day on March 2 will be the central day of the event. RVIA’s membership meeting takes place from 8:15-10:30 a.m., featuring reports on association activities from RVIA Chairman Bob Parish and RVIA President Frank Hugelmeyer.

The afternoon session will feature two seminar presentations, including featured speaker Charles Payne, founder and CEO of “Wall Street Strategies.” He is widely recognized as a thought leader on stock markets and politics and is the best-selling author of “Be Smart, Act Fast, Get Rich.” He hosts “Making Money with Charles Payne” daily on the Fox Business Network and can also be seen on “Varney & Co.,” “Cavuto on Business,” and “Your World.”

The Boca Raton Resort & Club is nestled in a Mediterranean-inspired historic village just a few steps from the South Florida coastline. Many of the hotel’s guest rooms come with a view of the Atlantic Ocean, intercoastal waterway, or marina, and all guest rooms offer the latest amenities.
