Skyline logoManufactured housing and park model builder Skyline Corp. reported a net loss on higher sales for the company’s fiscal third quarter.

Elkhart, Ind.-based Skyline posted sales of $38.1 million during the period, an increase of 26% from $30.16 million the year prior. The company incurred a net loss of nearly $3 million, or 36 cents per share as compared to a net loss of $5.7 million, 68 cents per share, in the year ago quarter.

For the first nine months Skyline reported sales of $137.4 million, an increase of 28% over net sales of $107 million in the comparable period in fiscal 2014. The net loss during the period was $10.21 million, or $1.22 per share, as compared to a net loss of $9.3 million, or $1.11 per share, in the comparable period in fiscal 2014.

Skyline divested its RV interests in a sale to Middlebury, Ind.-based EverGreen Recreational Vehicles LLC in October of 2014.
