After two-and-a-half days of education seminars, the 54th Annual Wisconsin Association of Campground Owners (WACO) Convention and Trade Show, held March 15-19 at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Stevens Point, Wis., moved into the trade show portion of its jam-packed agenda.

In what has become tradition, members of the University of Wisconsin Marching Band opened the trade show be leading campground owners up and down the aisles in a parade before the vendors.

The convention continues today (March 18) with a full day of the trade show, followed by the WACO auction from 5-7 p.m., and the entertainment of hypnotist Jeff Michaels at 8 p.m.

Sunday offers roundtable discussions with a twist — attendees stay seated while one of eight different moderators, each with their own topic, rotate from table-to-table every 15 minutes. To view a slideshow of the first few days of the WACO convention, scroll to the right side of the page.
