SMC Corp. co-founder Matthew M. Perlot, 64, retired today from his positions as chairman and CEO “due to personal health issues.”
Perlot’s retirement is effective today (Jan. 10), but he will continue as a consultant to the Bend, Ore.-based company.
Curtis W. Lawler, the other SMC co-founder, was named the new CEO of the manufacturer of high-end Class A motorhomes.
Michael R. Jacque will remain as president and COO.
SMC did not provide any information today about who would become its new chairman.
