The McClain County, Okla., district attorney has charged the co-owner of Sooner RV in Purcell with seven counts of embezzlement Tuesday afternoon.
KOCO TV reported that Regina Kay Clark is the subject of five complaints of embezzlement since Dec. 17, according to an affidavit. The complaints are alleging Clark, who acted as an agent for Sooner RV, entered an agreement to sell other people’s recreational vehicles and then sold them without compensating the original owners of the RVs.
The people who entered into the consignment said they worked directly with Clark, according to the affidavit. When she told the owners about the sales, she gave multiple reasons for why payments were not being made.
