South African manufacturer Bundu Quip cc will enter the North American folding camper market with the introduction of its Stalker ATT at several retail shows this winter.

The Stalker ATT, which stands for all-terrain trailer, will be shown at the Sportsmen’s Exposition in Denver Jan. 24-27 and the Seattle RV & Outdoor Recreation Show from Feb. 7-10.

It also will be shown at the Sportsmen’s Exposition in Phoenix on Feb. 28, the Sportsmen’s Exhibition in Salt lake City March 14-17 and the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, March 28-29.

Bundu Quip has hired 4×4 Trailers Ltd., a dealership in North Las Vegas, Nev., as its U.S. distributor.

The stainless steel trailer is slightly more than 11 feet long and can come with an optional two or three compartment roof top tent.

However, users of the Stalker ATT do not have to sleep on the ground, said Les Yoakum, owner of 4×4 Trailers. Instead, the Stalker ATT includes compartments where two or three adults can sleep.

Other options include a solid oak kitchen unit that includes a two-burner Coleman gas stove, a 22- or 25-gallon stainless steel front water/fuel tank, a 102Ah Deltec deep cycling battery and a shower enclosure.

The extremely durable unit is designed for being pulled off-road and the Stalker ATT cleverly folds out in a manner reminiscent of a Swiss Army knife, Yoakum said.

The suggested retail price for the base unit is $7,600 while the suggested retail price for a fully equipped version is $14,230, he added.

Dealers interested in stocking the Stalker ATT should contact Yoakum at 1-866-416-8460.
