Sportscoach RV, a division of Elkhart, Ind.-based Coachmen Industries Inc., has redesigned the Sportscoach Elite diesel pusher motorhome for 2007 with 84-inch ceilings, new front and rear caps and a new interior decor. The new front end is equipped with a one-piece windshield and European-style mirrors. Amenities include a 15-cubic-foot residential refrigerator, three LCD flat-screen TVs and a surround-sound entertainment system. “The Elite is for experienced RVers who want to stand out from the crowd with this trade-up model,” said Sportscoach General Manager Michael Scheetz. Available in one 40-foot quad-slideout floorplan for about $250,000, the 2007 Sportscoach Elite is built on a 32,000-pound GVWR Freightliner XC raised-rail chassis, which allows a flat rear bedroom floor. Standard with a 350-hp 7.2 liter Caterpillar C7 diesel engine, the Sportscoach’s “Legends” options package includes a 400-hp Cat C-9 power plant. The “Flame” exterior graphics shown here are optional.
