Year-over-year Canadian motorhome sales slid 16.1% for the first four months of 2019, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc.
Thor Industries Inc. was the Canadian motorhome sales leader through April, capturing a 47.3% market share, followed by Forest River Inc. (37.8%) and Winnebago Industries Inc. (4.8).
Class A registrations tumbled 25.9% for the four months. Thor was No. 1 in the category with a 40.3% market share, ahead of Forest River (19.4%) and REV Recreation Group (11.8%).
In the Class C segment, sales declined 12.3% through April. Thor held the top spot with a 49.6% market share followed by Forest River (44%) and Winnebago (3.6%).
