Year-over-year Canadian motorhome sales were down 10.8% for the first nine months of 2019, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc.

Thor Industries Inc. was the Canadian motorhome sales leader through September, capturing a 45% market share, followed by Forest River Inc. (35.4%) and Winnebago Industries Inc. (6.5%).

Class A registrations fell 11.7% for the nine months as Thor was No. 1 in the category with a 38.9% market share, ahead of Forest River (20.2%), Newmar Corp. (12.3%) and REV Recreation Group (12.1%).

In the Class C segment, sales declined 10.4% through September. Thor held the top spot with a 47.7% market share followed by Forest River (41.9%) and Winnebago (6.1%).
