Year-over-year Canadian sales motorhome plummeted 34.8% for the first two months of 2018, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc.

Thor Industries Inc. was the Canadian motorhome sales leader through February, capturing a 48.1% market share, followed by Forest River Inc. (26.3%), REV Group (8.3%) and Winnebago Industries Inc. (7.5%).

Class A registrations tumbled 14.8% for the two months on relatively low volume. Thor was No. 1 in the category for the month with a 30.4% market share, ahead of Forest River and Tiffin Motorhomes Inc. (16.7%), both holding a 19.6% share.

In the Class C segment, sales declined 42% through February. Thor held the top spot with a 57.5% market share followed by Forest River (29.9%) and Winnebago (5.7%).
