Year-over-year Canadian motorhome sales fell 9.3% for the first four months of 2018, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc.
Thor Industries Inc. was the Canadian motorhome sales leader through April, capturing a 53.4% market share, followed by Forest River Inc. (28.5%) and Winnebago Industries Inc. (7.7%).
Class A registrations edged down 2.1% for the four months. Thor was No. 1 in the category with a 34% market share, ahead of Forest River (20%) and Winnebago (16.2%).
In the Class C segment, sales declined 11.7% through April. Thor held the top spot with a 60.7% market share followed by Forest River (31.7%) and Winnebago (4.5%).
