Year-over-year Canadian motorhome sales tumbled 53% for the first three months of 2019, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc.
Thor Industries Inc. was the Canadian motorhome sales leader through March, capturing a 52.8% market share, followed by Forest River Inc. (25.2%) and Winnebago Industries Inc. (6.5%).
Class A registrations fell 37.3%% for the three months. Thor was No. 1 in the category with a 37.8% market share, ahead of Forest River (21.6%) and REV (13.5%).
In the Class C segment, sales declined 58.5% through March. Thor held the top spot with a 60.7% market share followed by Forest River (27.1%) and Winnebago Industries Inc. (6.4%).
