Year-over-year Canadian motorhome sales fell 3.3% for the first five months of 2018, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc.
Thor Industries Inc. was the Canadian motorhome sales leader through May, capturing a 44.3% market share, followed by Forest River Inc. (35.1%) and Winnebago Industries Inc. (10.9%).
Class A registrations edged up 2.7% for the five months. Thor was No. 1 in the category with a 36.6% market share, ahead of Forest River (19.9%), Winnebago (12.7%) and REV Group (12.4%).
In the Class C segment, sales declined 5.1% through May. Thor held the top spot with a 46.9% market share followed by Forest River (40.1%) and Winnebago (10.3%).
