Year-over-year Canadian motorhome were flat for the first six months of 2018 showing a 1.4% increase, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc.
Thor Industries Inc. was the Canadian motorhome sales leader during the period, capturing a 43.7% market share, followed by Forest River Inc. (35.7%) and Winnebago Industries Inc. (10.5%).
Class A registrations rose 8% for the six months. Thor was No. 1 in the category with a 37.2% market share, ahead of Forest River (21.1%), Winnebago (12.2%) and REV Group (11.1%).
In the Class C segment, sales declined 0.9% through June. Thor held the top spot with a 46.1% market share followed by Forest River (41%) and Winnebago (10%).
