Year-over-year Canadian motorhome sales declined 16.1% in February and 13.3% for the first two months, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc.

Forest River Inc. was the Canadian motorhome sales leader year-to-date, capturing a 32.3% market share, followed by Thor Industries Inc. and Winnebago Industries Inc., each capturing a 17.7% share. Jayco Inc. was No. 3 with a 15.3% share.

February Class A registrations dropped 20.9% while the sector was down 18.1% for the two months. Forest River was No. 1 year-to-date with a 27.9% market share followed by Winnebago (19.1%) and Thor (17.6%).

In the Class C segment, sales declined 11.4% for the month and 6.7% through February. Forest River led the category with a 37.5% share followed by Jayco (26.8%) and Thor (17.9%).
